De Nieuwe Internationale School Esprit (DENISE) in Amsterdam offers widely accessible international high-quality education for the modern world with broad awareness of the collective responsibility for the world we live in. DENISE achieves this by offering a broad international curriculum as well as an anchor for life in the Netherlands. DENISE is a school for all students with an international mindset. We offer the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) as a preparation to the Dutch MAVO, HAVO or the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. DENISE has been accredited as an IB World School and will start the IB Diploma Programme in August 2018. The IB will be taught in English and will prepare students for University.
You will be part of a professional and enthusiastic team. You will be enabled to take responsibility and use your expertise as a teacher. As a DENISE teacher you are international-minded, focussed on language learning, can arrange your learning materials, differentiate and are open for cooperative teaching. You endorse the vision of the IPC/IMYC/IB and you are a mentor for our students. In Januari 2019 DENISE will move to a new school building, see info at the school website.
For our secondary department we are looking for a teacher:
MATH (3 days a week - as soon as possible)
who answers to the following:
- preferably University trained (master);
- has experience in working in an international context; preferable as an IB teacher;
- is able to design and execute high quality lessons;
- is able to differentiate;
- is a team player;
- will support and cooperate to the development of the school;
- wants to be a active part of the international school community;
