Welcome to DENISE
Welcome to DENISE, an international school in the Netherlands that provides primary and secondary education. Our lower secondary school offers a 3-year bridge class, while our upper secondary school has Dutch VMBO-TL and HAVO examination programs and the International Baccalaureate diploma program (IB-DP).
DENISE is part of Esprit Scholen and an IB-World School since 2018.
Shaping your future by knowing your past
In 2014, DENISE started with the mission to provide high-quality international and Dutch education for students aged 4 -18.
DENISE was founded on the vision that every child, regardless of origin, skin color, language, gender, culture, or religion, has equal opportunities for a promising school career in the Netherlands. Through our vision, approach, and structure, we offer improved opportunities to obtain a diploma in a good school climate and make a meaningful contribution to society. An 'ordinary' Dutch school where every pupil is welcome. The goal is a good reception and support for newcomers to the Netherlands and access to international education. In this way, we want to maximize the chances of success for newcomers in the Netherlands.
At our school, there are internationals in the broadest sense of the word: from newcomers to Amsterdam students, whether born in the Netherlands or not. We are a school with students from more than 70 different countries.
